For this election, it is anticipated that the ballots will be mailed on 06/25/26.
Registration is available by visiting MYVOTE.WI.GOV or in the Clerk's office up 08/07/26 and on election day.
In person absentee hours:
7/28 Tuesday 9 am to noon
7/29 Wednesday noon to 3 pm
7/30 Thursday 9 am to noon
8/3 Monday noon to 3 pm
8/4 Tuesday 9 am to noon
8/5 Wednesday noon to 3 pm
8/6 Thursday 9 am to noon
8/7 Friday 9 am to 5 pm
Polls will open at 7 am and will close at 8 pm.

Notice
is hereby given that the Public Test of the electronic ballot counting
equipment to be used at the Partisan Primary Election, to be held on August 11,
2026; will be conducted at the Town Hall, 109 Old Abe Road, Lac du Flambeau, on
Monday, August 3, 2026, at 11:00 a.m.
This test is open to the public.
This testing provides an additional way to
ensure that voting machines are working properly, and that the election will be
conducted accurately.
By state law, a pre-election test of voting
equipment occurs before every election and in every municipality across
Wisconsin. In the public tests, voting
machine programming is verified by feeding a set of pre-marked ballots into
each machine and reviewing the results tape that is generated. An errorless count is required at the
conclusion of the testing. According to
Wi. Stat. 5.84(1), any anomalies identified in testing must be remedied before
the equipment can be used in an election.

2026 Absentee Ballot Information
Remember that ABSENTEE BALLOT APPLICATONS are for a calendar year only. These can be filed with the Clerk after 1/1.
To request an absentee ballot, simply visit the VOTE ABSENTEE BY MAIL link below OR send the clerk an email at clerk@tn.lacduflambeau.wi.gov and include your name, residence, mailing address for the ballot and the election you are selecting. THE POSTAL SERVICE WILL NOT FORWARD ELECTION RELATED MAIL AS A REMINDER IF YOU ARE TRAVELING OR NOT AT YOUR RESIDENCE.
